However You Feel Right Now, That’s Right

However you feel right now, that’s right.

If your pace of life has slowed, I would invite you to lean into that new speed. If your pace of life has slowed, and you are enjoying it, I would encourage you to consider how you might bring this new pace into your life, when the world goes back to normal.

If your pace of life has slowed and you can’t wait to get back to your regular speed, it will be available to you.

Without question, this long moment has taught me things about myself that I have known, but needed to be reminded of. And some, that I didn’t know before.

I need more time for reflection.
I need more time for gentle movement.
I need more time for myself, that is not based in distraction.
I need more time with more humans. This means doing things differently. Bringing my disabled body into the world, more often.

As much as I want the world to go back to normal, my normal is going to be different. And there are parts of my past normal that I most certainly do not miss.

However you feel right now, that’s right.

What are you learning about you in this long moment?
