Today is International No Diet Day

To celebrate, do ANYTHING with a 95% or higher success rate: learn to ride a 🚲, learn how to play a game, learn how to cut a mango (well), learn how to tie your πŸ‘Ÿ, learn about your family history, say NO, say yes, buy clothes πŸ‘• that fit you, wear a new color or print, unfollow an account that doesn’t serve you, pet a πŸ•, start looking at images of diverse bodies.

Today is about reclaiming body respect, for EACH AND EVERY BODY. Without contingency.

Today is about moving beyond food rules. And committing to do so today and always. No one else’s food doctrines are for human consumption anyway.

Today is about trusting your body. To function, digest, operate as expected. At any given moment, MORE IS GOING RIGHT FOR YOUR BODY THAN IS NOT. I say this often, but think it’s important.

Today is about not falling for anyone who is advertising intuitive eating as a diet. Or for any suggestion that Noom is not one.

Today is about enjoying food. Enjoyment is allowed. And wonderful. Eat with humans you love. Savor. Relish in. Enjoy. Allow.

Today is a day about saying no to diets. I’m in. Forever.

What is one way you’ll commemorate this no-diet day?
