Today might feel like a lot

Today might feel like a lot. Give this a try to make the experience a bit easier!

Drop the judgement and eat with the intention of being able to describe the experience to another human. If that feels too hard, that’s absolutely all right. But instead of eating with the binary in the background, try these words, instead:

・Hot
・Cold
・Warm
・Chilled
・Icy
・Sweet
・Savory
・Sour
・Bitter
・Herbaceous
・Floral
・Creamy
・Crunchy
・Smooth
・Toothy
・Fresh
・Crispy
・Earthy

What am I missing?

Wishing those who celebrate a very Happy Thanksgiving!

I’m grateful that you’re here. I’m grateful that we’re connected. I’m grateful that you’ve chosen to make me a part of your life. I choose you right back.

If you’re up for it, and if you’re on social media today, give me some descriptions of the lovely things that you eat! Or the things that you are anticipating to be delicious. I’m not going to regulate this post, so I ask that this be a place of neutral descriptions. Of happy eating. Of overcoming challenges. Of doing the harder, maybe tastier thing.
